Yu Tsai dives into the arts and food culture in the city of Taichung. He meets with graffiti-art collective, Escape Plan X, who has revived an old building destroyed by fire, and finds out how they are revitalizing the art scene through their passion. He visits a veteran soldier, Grandpa Rainbow, to learn about how his works of art saved a village from demolition. Special guest, Taiwanese celebrity chef, Soac Liu, joins Yu Tsai to meet the Sing Fa Ting family to see how age old desserts inspire the new. And they explore Taichung’s Feng Chia night market, to get a taste of innovation and creativity through the new generation of street food vendors. Back in the kitchen, Yu Tsai gets creative and concocts an inventive dish of Pop Corn Chicken with Ice Cream and Waffles to delight his guests.
